Best strategy to make citrus grow larger?

I have 2 meyer lemon, 2 navel orange, and 2 satsuma. When I planted them last year, they were all 3 year old trees, about 4 ft fall. The branches were/are very thin so the fruit broke off a few on all of the trees until I sacrificed a bunch in order to stop the breaking.
Would cutting off all the flowers/early fruit for this year allow the trees to focus on actually growing rather than producing fruit?

my coworker trims back his limbs every couple years. supposedly this helps. he also uses a concoction of miracle-grow and some other stuff in the off season. good luck.

I think you just need to give it another year and they will be fine. The first year after transplanting is transitional and they will probably double in size this growing season after a year in the ground establishing a root system.

This is going to sound crazy and I know next to nothing about growing fruit but, in my younger days, a friend of mine had a lemon tree in a garden next to his outdoor patio. We would have parties pretty regularly and we would often take a leak outside at the base of the tree. That tree grew taller and produced the biggest lemons I have ever seen. We would pick them every year and have tons and tons of lemons. So, based on my personal experience, a lot of beer mixed with urine will produce massive lemons

I have lost every citrus I have ever planted, but I live in North La.
Only thing I ever did right with citrus was to give them plenty of Ironite. It seemed to have helped a lot till I figured out another way to kill them.

In the movie The World's Fastest Indian the main character pees on his lemon tree every day; based on a true story. The neighbors were not happy.
Seriously, it ought to be good for the tree.

Dude,
Just leave them alone and let them grow. Fertilize according to the LSU Home Citrus guide, keep sprayed, etc. Shape the tree if you feel necessary, don't take a lot off.
Stop obsessing over them.

Someone with 1500 citrus trees in the back yard.

I have a young Meyer Lemon that is bearing fruit to the point that one of the main branches is bending over almost touching the ground. The fruit are really small and when they grow it will either break or be touching the ground. Should I try and prop that branch up so that it doesn't break??

My grandfather planted 5 satsuma trees near his sewage ditch.
Never seen trees produce that many fruit each year.
He planted his plum trees near his chicken pens and they did great too.
