5 years ago I was buying one and looked at Consumer Reports.

They recommend a Yard Man. I have been very happy with it.


Putting marine stabil in your gas is huge for lawnmowers or anything where the gas will sit.

My brother lived in Billings for six or seven years. That whole time all he had was one of these.



He didn't have a large yard and only needed to mow for a couple of months out of each year. The grass looked great after using it, but my nephews hated him for having it.

I don't use the bag very often, but it seems fine. I typically mulch.

Another vote for the Honda. Mine survived the flooding as well and still starts on the first pull!
