Thats what I am thinking. I am wondering how deep the canoe bayou in BigB is right now. That could be a fun one. A shite ton of gators.

No, it doesn't come up to the interstate nor a highway I think. I believe you can only access it off a single road or from the lake. So it should be pretty quite.

My favorite paddle and I paddle a lot!

Launch at pontchatrain yacht club and go north. You will pass by hundreds and hundreds of sailboats. You can go all the way up until bayou runs under Tammany trace path. Very nice an secluded paddle. I often see deer running along the bayou. You will see a gator or two near the sailboat marinas. I think they feed them. Just paddle on and they move.

I Probably paddle 3-4 hundred miles a year and that is my favorite relaxing/ beer sipping paddle. you can stop and visit with people cleaning up their sail boats , cooking drinking etc. you can paddle up and down the slips just looking at all the boats. I was amazed at how many are back there. Keep going and the bayou gets very secluded and narrows down a lot.

You can also paddle out into lake and head over to fountianblue state park and get out and walk around. I can think of no better paddle to bring a lady friend along on....

My new yak is red; long and skinny. I'll keep an eye out for you.

I have the yellow one still, but haven't used it in over a year.

Here they all are...

We are friends on facebook?

I am still not positive who you are.

And no I wish, she is a good friend, came up through school together. You and every other swinging dick in a 100 miles ask me about her.
