Other than pawn shops, what is a good place to look. I'd like to add to my collection....

Pretty much all gun stores sell used guns.

Check Louisiana Sportsman's online classifieds.

handgun. .380 or 9mm. I like the ruger SR9, I hae smaller hands so I need something that's comfortable to hold but still fairly accurate for range shooting.

hmmmm, n/m lol... i've been told that the baby glocks are nice.. 380 or 9 shouldn't be bad on recoil..

Yeah, I can deal with 380 or 9 recoil. I'm fairly small so I have trouble with anything that's any bigger. (Though I'm working on it)

What do you guys think of this one?

We need a gun exchange kind of like the ticket exchange board. That would be awesome!

I regularly check craigslist. They will remove posts for guns but if you check frequently you can find some good deals before the moderators remove them. People will get creative, posting "hunting supplies" or "scope for sale" (which happens to be attached to 270 Winchester). I recently got a 44 mag. muzzle loader with scope from a guy off craiglist. Also bought a bushmaster m4-a2 and AK-47 package deal from a guy off craigslist.

I bought my wife a Bersa .380. She's pretty small and it fits her good and the recoil doesn't bother her.

Have you worked the action before? Make sure you don't have trouble chambering rounds. And welcome to the addiction!

looks like Justin and Dewayne are in touch with their feminine side, when it comes to gun colors..

Will look into that, thanks.

My main issue is that I have very small hands and I really have to strain to pull the trigger. It makes my hands sore if I don't stop and rest a bunch.

yeah that's partially why I like this one. I'm thinking it's probably got a pretty bad kick to it and isn't going to be all that great on Accuracy.

I'd love a pink gun.

The Beretta Tomcat .32 is another sweet gun. .32 may be smaller than you were looking to go though.

Part of the problem is you are using muscles that you don't normally use when you shoot. Spend some time at the range and the soreness and fatigue will improve.

I've shot one of those, it was too big. When the V of my fingers is where it's supposed to be, my trigger finger is nowhere near the trigger. I have to shift my whole hand to the right and up to pull it.

I wear a size XS in lab gloves, this is nothing new for me.

Honestly Pawn Shops are your best bet. I have bought 4-5 of my guns from a Pawn Shop. They also have new 380 or 9s at most shops. They are also cheaper than most gun stores.
