I need some new tires for my 06 500 foreman. I'm looking at either the 26 or 27" Maxxis Zillas, and trying to figure out where the best place would be to buy them. I'm in the Lafayette area, and called the Honda shop and of course they are wayyyy up there in price from what I'm seeing online. Wondering if there is anywhere else that you guys have had luck buying and/or having them mounted if I buy online. Looks like i can buy a set online for roughly $400 w/ shipping, then would have to pay to have them mounted...or could spend $700ish and buy rim/tire combo and keep my current set as a spare...What yall think? Decisions, decisions.

I was in this same boat a few years ago. I decided to search on ATV swap shop on facebook. I paid half the price for almost brand new tires with 95% tread left.

Got my new tires and wheels from pureoffroad. Good prices and was at my doorstep in 2 days mounted up and all. It was pretty legit, I actually went and left a review when they asked.

Ronnie Meyers at dtb auto in port Allen can definitely get you hooked up with tires or a tire/wheel combo.

Got my zillas mounted on ITP rims from eBay, place in West Monroe sources them from all over and ships mounted to your door. They weren’t the absolute cheapest but NO ONE else had a full set in stock, took about three days for them to get to me from two different locations.

I bought a set of Maxxis online 2 years ago and then paid about $20 to have them mounted at some crap place that sells used tires. Was easy and much cheaper.

Have 6 4 wheelers and a side x side, all bikes have trail and mud tires, all mounted on their own rims. All bought at Performance Power Sports in Houma. Found it was best value to buy, get them mounted to rims at same place.
