My old boots finally started leaking this past weekend. I won’t need a new pair for a few months, what boots do you guys recommend?

Should I get them now or wait a little longer for sales?

There was a thread over the weekend. Everyone recommends either Muck or Lacrosse.

Muck if comfort, warmth and durability are your priorities.

I'm not much for overspending on brand names. But I picked up a pair of Under Armour rubber boots for a song at the local Gander closeout sale. Wearing them now. Most comfortable hunting boots I've ever worn.
As to their durability, I can't say.

Academy has a huge sale going on this week. I saw some wolverine hunting boots and some other brand for like $30/pair. Might be worth a look.

Several years ago, I had a pair of Lacrosse AllTemps. They were rubber bottom, leather upper, PAC style boots, with removable inserts for sole, and 2 different thickness booties for warmth. I really wish someone offered a similar boot, as you could use these year round...
