I have a Snyper. I hate it. I'm buying an Exodus.

Pics looks great, THP guys say lithium AA last a whole season, can change settings from phone app on the fly, also a unique deal...if it get's stolen on public land they'll send you a new one for 1/2 price no questions.

That’s the only one i haven’t tried. But i do hear Spartan is awesome also. The guy at ridgetec actually wrote the software for Spartan before starting his own camera.

I have a question if you can answer....
If you have 8 cuddebacks and one has a malfunction.... Does it affect the others in the daisy-chain? I can never get a straight answer..
Oh and how close do they need to be to another one?

I haven't run into that problem honestly so I don't know.

They say a 1/2 mile (880 yards) but it's not that far in the bottoms I hunt prob 300-400 yards yards max. Signal was fairly low around 300 yards but it seemed to work well.

In a fields I've used them up to around 400 yards and they worked great, prob would max out around 600-700 though. Anything more than that and it may have signal but not enough to work effectively.

For my application, they have worked great and I'm a fan.

I still love my Coverts though. IMHO they are the best camera on the market. I have 2 non-cell Covert Cams and they always go into my woods.

Normal lithium AA was getting between 4-5 days. The lawn Mower batteries get 2 1/2-3 weeks.

I got solar panels with built in rechargeable lithium ion batteries and they’ve been out since April and still at 95% battery. It’s probably the best investment I’ve made at $60 per panel. It’s saved me countless trips to the lease to change batteries.
