Yeah I've heard good and bad reviews. I got a great deal on them so I figured why not. Unless they last crazy long (65-70k) I'll prolly get ATZs next time. I do not have a favorite brand so I'll get a few and find a set that fits me best.

Tires are an especially dumb thing to have brand loyalty witb unless you or somebody you know is sellin them.

I had mastercraft at's on my old truck. Cheap and no complaints. Held up as good as the bfg's but not quite as good off road.

The tire gets much less important as the load gets lighter also. A regular half ton truck will do fone with pretty mich any tire.

Exactly my point. I could have gotten away with street tires honestly but I got the BFGs just to be done with it.

Now my old jeep, that was fun keeping tires on it.

Once you use Swampers in the mud, you will form a loyalty with them. I would run them now, just dont go in the mud as often as I used to.

You get used to that loud hum when driving on the interstate. I kinda miss it now

Bfg a/t. Got 72000 miles out of mine. Rotate every 5k miles and I used to spray tire protectant on them every other week. Great tires. Never got stuck when hunting

Thats not brand loyalty. Thats just using badass shite

When mine isnt a daily driver anymore it will have some LTB's on it. No way i could justify it right now. It eats all terrains so i'd hate to see what would happen with swampers.

I am prolly gonna get the ATZ next go round. I have had mud tires for 11 years straight. Gonna feel like a big puss

I wanna to put some TSLs on my Jeep, but I'm already getting 11 mpg, so it wouldn't be a good choice.

Get SSRs, problem solved

They have the Three Stage Lug design on a radial with siping. The siping worked better in the rain for me than what was on the old BFG M/Ts.

It is amazing to feel how much air comes off of them when you balance each tire. It is like someone turned on a small squirrel cage fan

I am gonna say, nothing (dealing with tires) in as awesome as when you start getting stuck and mash the gas pedal with Swampers. Most tires you let off the gas when you feel yourself getting more stuck, not Swampers. Baseball-sized chunks of mud flying, hitting everywhere, and then you take off. Damn, I miss them

ATZs are as close performance wise to a MT as you can get in an AT. I took my 08 Tacoma through some shite in them and never got stuck. I'll be putting them on my new Tacoma when the cappy BFG Rugged Trails that came on it wear out. I just can't justify dropping $900 to replace the tires on a brand new truck.

Try $1500 with tax, that was at cost for my MTZs. Without the steep discount it would have been in the $1900-$2k range

That's why im staying with 16 inch wheels. I'll probably be able to get 265/75 r16s for less than $900.
