Nah. I just think most people are in actuality probably 3 moa shooters and the rifle isn’t the limiting factor. Thats still effective accuracy out to some pretty significant distances. I think accuracy has been marketed beyond its utility for the majority of hunting situations. Obviously not the case if you’re prone dialing across a canyon, and I would want every drop of precision I could get in that instance.

I just held the Bergara B-14 Stoke in 300BLK last week and man that thing was sweet. The only Bergara model I own is the BMR Carbon in 17 HMR and I will say that thing is a tack driver at 100yrds. I don't think you can go wrong with a Bergara rife.

Yeah, but I’d rather hunt with an over accurate rifle than a Remington rattlemaster with see thru scope mounts.

I’ve only shot two but both were super nice and tiny groups. If I preferred the rem 700 foot print to the tikkas, it would be at the top of my list.

Well, yea. As a guy once said, only accurate rifles are interesting.
I'm on the same page as the drunkard. With a hungover coonass in a box stand shivering his arse off propped up on a half rotten piece of OSB shooting at a 4 point 220 yards away crossing a trashy four-wheeler trail, the jam o matic is not going to be the largest introduction of error. Having a 10 pound MOA at 1000 yards capable chassis mounted custom super wizzerbanger with a nightforce ATACR probably isn't going to save said coonass' shirt tail
Life got better for me when I figured out that my deer rifle shooting 2 MOA was perfectly fine for as far as I'd ever shoot it. Makes checking zero way cheaper. Bang the plate at 200 yards every shot = good to hunt.
I've never shot a bergara rifle. I know one person who has a B14 6.5 creedmoor and says it's the most accurate rifle he owns by a very large margin

I got the Bergara Premier a few weeks ago. So not the B14 and may have a few additional features. Plus it's on the heavy competition chassis with a super light trigger tech trigger. Not a hunting gun for sure and set up to shoot tight groups. But in working up a load for reloading, I've had nothing shoot over 1 MOA yet. And many at 1/2 MOA. I'm blown away at the quality out of the box. It's doing right away what I'd thought would take a few months of tinkering to work up to.

I own several rod/reel combos that I will never under any circumstances tell my wife what they cost, so far be it from me to tell anyone what they should value in gear. If it’s enjoyable to you and increases confidence then go for it.
For my uses, tightening up 1/2 MOA just isn’t worth carrying an extra pound of weight. I’ll enjoy carrying that rifle way more than I’ll appreciate hitting a different part of the lung. If that means recovering versus not on a 700 yard shot, gimme that extra pound and 5 more.

I have the B14 Ridge Wilderness in .308. I would definitely but another. Very sweet shooting gun.
