I am about to add a set of trim tabs to my boat. Looking at the Bennett Marine bolt 129s.

Seeing if anyone had them and how well they worked? I will be adding them to a 22’ Blue Wave. Also, are the indicator controls worth the extra cash?

Go with the true and proven for many years hyd tabs. Last three life times and very easy to install and service.

if you buy Bennett get the hydraulic tabs with rocker switch. All will last forever. I have M80s on my 21’ boat. If you want electric get Lenco

Got Bennett bolts on my skiff. LED indicator panel and auto retract. If you fish a lot of shallow water It's really annoying to have the tabs go through a retract cycle every time the key gets turned off but on a bay boat it would be a nice feature. I've cut the wire for the auto retract. My tabs don't touch my trailer and I don't use a lift so if I forget them down it's not a big deal. They are very solid. If I drove on a lift with them down I'd be surprised if it damaged the tabs. The control box is nice and solid, everything seems to be built very well. No issues so far
