Not sure if they still spawning but we caught 2 with eggs last weekend.
I have heard sometimes they keep eggs and don't spawn that year, not sure what happens to the eggs.

Hijack. Has anybody heard anything about the Pirates cove marina guide service?

Some fish expel them, but I've also heard that their bodies are able to reabsorb the unused eggs after a period of time. Not sure how that would work though.
ETA: After searching The Google, it would appear the general consensus in the scientific community is that unused eggs are eventually expelled, not reabsorbed.

When the weather gets warm those big spoons work in the river.

I've caught plenty of white bass on small ones before. I've never seen anything that size!
(There's a white and black bass spoon size joke in there somewhere. I'm just not smart enough to figure it out)

Van Dam up to 27. Appears to be deep cranking. I bet someone will be there tomorrow when he gets there.

Powroznik has 27# and has culled 10 averaging 3.5#. That's a pile of fish he's already sorelipped.

KVD with 29 pounds Rick Clunn is in second, Hank Cherry in third.
Rick and Hank were sitting together at the weigh in for the Bass Champs tourney last weekend.

Do you know if we will be able to take the party barge there or will they block any landing off?
