You called it. Thought they wouldn't make it with the conditions but he figured it out.

Seems the Saturday night festivities was a hit. They were saying this is like Bass Masters crowds. Watched a good bit this morning and was amazed at the technology. Most were in Housen and seemed to be fishing in 10' or better water. Catching suspended fish.

Yeah unless you’re KVD 15 years ago kind of talent you just about have to bite the bullet and learn to use the FFS. Every professional event I’ve seen or read about this year was won by a guy using FFS and uncommon style baits and presentations.
On the events where every fish weight counts, it’s definitely gonna be used.

I agree you might get lucky on Fork, if you fish it during the spawn.

You are digging yourself out of a hole if you try to beat an angler that fishes for a living using FFS, studies maps of the lake, and can work finesse lures.

Does anyone have the map of where the fish were caught?

I need it for scouting purposes

Yea, looked liked they were lined up offshore/near shore down north bank of Housen from mouth of main lake up to about halfway in. Milliken was in Pirates Cove running same pattern and thought coming off lake on Saturday that he could have a "special" bag on Sunday. He lost 2 big ones on Sunday that would have made that a reality.

Also saw several of those guys go shallow and catch a few that had already pulled up in grass/shallows to bed
