A friend of mine has had several pet coons. They a funny to watch and play with. The are just like a puppy. They will play fetch and roll around on the floor with you. Usuall when they get older they will get mean and then he gets a new one.

I can't convince my GF to let me raise a baby squirrel.

When I was a kid our neighbor had a pet crow. Would follow him around and it could talk. Very cool pet.

Have had squirrels, raccoons, owls, and alligators. Squirrels were always my favorite, but the raccoons were a close second.

could yall ever keep ya'lls squirrels/raccoons, etc once they were adults? we always had the babies around, but once they grew up they always started biting, and those suckers hurt! is there any way to get the wild out?
and I know a lady that breeds bobcats, they're not really pet material

The crows will usually migrate out in the fall and winter.
The squirrels will usually integrate with whatever squirrels you have around your house and stick around

Our squirrels would always hang around and would act like they halfway remembered you. You could get a little closer to them than the regular ones
The coolest thing we ever had was a hawk... you threw frozen mice at it and it'd catch em midair
Pretty interesting couple months but I wouldnt recommend one as a long term pet

My grandmaw had a pet flying squirrel. It used to climb up the curtains and fly across the house. Neat as hell.

Rabies wil not kill a racoon. They are almost single handedly the reason rabies is still around.

I've always been told that a skunk with it's stink glands removed make a great pet.
My dad had pet squirrels when he was young.

pretty sure you can't get the little red ear turtles we used to get when i was a kid. you'll have to settle for a tortoise!

Na, all the squirrels, deer, wounded birds we have taken care of ended up being wild after they grew up or weren't hurt anymore.
