There are some youtube vids where a few Texas aggies are building a trap.
Let me guess-they can't get out?

allow us to do a weekend night hunt and take 30-50 of those things out in a weekend.
If a couple of guys want to do it, come on, Ill put yall out there and drink beer at the camp. We have a guy that has the night vision stuff and is waiting on his suppressor...he has said I can have free use of it, I just don't really desire to hang up in a tree for a night.

I quit feeding when my feeder area smelled like a damn sewage pit...with muddy beds all in the trail. Just don't put out bran and you are ok it seems, put bran out and oh my God.

Had a guy tell me to use soybean bran bc hogs don't eat it. He lied.

such as?

Trapping, reducing/hardening feed stations, night hunting, "constant pressure" as others have suggested, then settle down to monitoring and trapping as a maintenance.

I'm talking about months of work.

I listened to the owner of JagerPro give a talk about trapping pigs a few weeks back and they are very very good at what they do. They dont even start trapping on your property unless all feeders are cut off and no one is allowed to hunt pigs whatsoever. They don't want to educate the ones that get away.

If you are very serious about catching them all, it can be done, but it takes a serious commitment

If you have that bad of a hog problem, dogs are a quick fix. I'm not sure how much $ you want to tie up in trapping, but hogs will eventually figure the more basic ones out. I have 5. They worked awesome at first, but after a while I had more problems with deer getting in them than hogs.
