So I was putting my lower together and I have managed to lose both detent pins. Still have the springs though. Does anybody know if the detents can be purchased at hardware stores or are they speciality parts. Also will any spring work as long as its the same size?

A spring of the same length and close to the same tension should work. You can make detents out of brass rod.

I'm going to bump this up, but I went ahead and ordered some new ones from midway. I also ordered the brownell installation tool. I plan to build another one later do it will be worth it.

Check your local gun shop. Same thing happened to me and Jim's in BR had some on hand so I bought 5.
