If you just need to shoot a couple rounds, go to the ramah/maringouin exit, and take the levee road south for a mile or so. Walk over the levee & sight in your rifle. I guarantee you no one will bother you.

There is a nice 100 yd rifle range in Gloster,Ms on hwy 33. It's covered with benches. It's on the edge of the homochitto forest .I costs $3. The good parts that you can stop at Vines for lunch in the way home.
