Anyone tried to build a polymer80 Glock?

Bought the polymer80 from Brownells several months ago for what I thought was dirt cheap ($60 I think).
Got it finished today and will try and shoot it Thurs.
only issue I had is that I got a new connect for it and it will not fire with it. The original one works fine but not the new one.

How much you have invested in it if you don’t mind me asking? I’d be interested in hearing the range report for sure

Not including the mag with shipping and all about $375
Swenson slide and barrel
Glock parts kits.

Can you carry it through a metal detector?

Of course, it’s ceramic.

Be sure to update once you’ve run it... I’m interested to see what kinda reliability you’ll get.

I’ve been thinking about getting one just because I think it would be cool to build it. And I think I would like that frame more than a Glock frame.
I haven’t seen those lowers for $60 before though. Cheapest I’ve seen them is around $100.

Told you wrong Glock. I forgot the barrel. It was an additional $67 or so.
I was pretty picky and patient on buying some of the things.
I looked again and frame was $68 shipped. Got it from Midwayusa last July.

Is it just a bad picture angle or in the front of the frame slightly out past the front of the slide??

Please report back. This is definitely on my Want To Do list.

If it is it isn't by much.
That swenson slide is a little more rounded off than a glock slide.
I hope to take out tomorrow for a test run.

Update for those asking.
Took it out today and put 250-300 rounds through it. For the most part it did really well. I did have a few FTE with the 1st box (175-200) that I put through it. After thinking about it these were 124gr with a fairly light powder load in them.
Tested a few in my 19 and they would not lock the slide back so I but the FTE on the light powder load.
Put another 100 or so and only had a couple of times it didn’t return back to battery fully.
Need to clean it really well and take it back out and shoot it some more.
