Check Walmart or Academy by the catfishing supplies (should be able to check inventory online).

Also check with Ken’s Marine Supply in Gulfport.

Don't go to West Marie. That place is awful. If you go to Academy, go to the one in D'Iberville. It is way better than the Academy in Gulfport.

I second this. The guys on there are super helpful and knowledgeable.

I’m not from that area but I suggest you find an old tackle/ bait shop.

There’s a seed and feed that has them in Vancleave. It’s about 10 miles north of the interstate

Academy has them here in N. AL. They seem to be seasonal though. I would assume they would have them in LA as well.

You can probably find some crappy H&H yo-yo's at Academy, but I wouldn't waste time or money on that crap. Find some White's Auto-fishers on Amazon or Ebay. They have the best trigger setup and you won't have as many trips or hooks without bait on it. I tried some H&H yo-yo's that somebody gave me and threw them right in the trash.
