Anyone here hunted Ascantia Plantation in Baton Rouge?

It is a "hunting club" off highland road. I used to work for the guy that owns it, but I never heard any of the stories about any kills.

edit: to answer your question Ive hunted it when the main road was a complete wrech and you needed a tractor to get back there. Saw a doe and a few turkeys

Have a buddy who hunts there. Must kill 2 does before you can hunt for a rack. They have killed a few nice racks over the years that he has been hunting there. Nothing monstrous but some nice wide racks.

Bob "The King of Highland Road".I lived in the little house on his property towards the park. The only deer I saw killed there was a spike that I had to kill because it was hit by a car. He told me about his doe rule and I always thought that was a strange rule.
