nothing in the circled area is in the "limited access area". the limited access area starts above "Chauvin" in that shot. See link below...

Island road in PAC

Saw a yellow hobbie yak in someone's truck there today.

Took the kids crabbing in that launch just below the game warden camp. Didn't catch many crabs but they had fun.

How long have the horses been living on that island across the canal from the PAC marina?

Had to look twice to make sure I was seeing what I thought I was seeing.

We just got a camp about a mile south of the bridge to get into Lake Boudreaux.
Just remember, "no wake" zones don't apply to locals.

Been spending a lot of my time in between cocodrie and bayou terrebonne lately. We used to fish/bowfish that area you circled a ton several years ago. I'm slowly re-learning everything out that way.

No kidding. We were building a pier this past weekend and people were burning by while we were standing and driving 4x4s from the bateau. Pissed me off.

For as long as I've been going and that's been 12 years or so. Cows over there too.

There are no fish at all in the southwest quadrant of your yellow area. Nor just south of there. Not a single fish. Science can't explain it. You should definitely not ever waste your time in that area. It may be radioactive or something, so I'd definitely stay out of that area. Completely.
