So let's discuss the topic at hand then, since everyone is so knowledgable on the subject. Let's just go back to my post about where those deer came from, and the genetics.
Can anyone show anything that shows any "northern" deer have any genetic influence on our herd? What does "northern" refer to? The actual O.v.borealis subspecies, which occurs in Wisconsin and of which 300 (of a total 3300 introduced deer) were released here over the course of 20 years? Or just anything north of the Louisiana line?
So, again, the question is, are those genetics shining through here, or, like the black bear, is this just a pathetic argument made by someone with an agenda?
