Water is low. Seen very few boats at the launch down there which is odd.

Butte Larose is closed FWIW

It's been so low for so long that now there's grass growing on what used to be the bottom. Grass is like 2-3 ft tall too.

Damn glad I opened this thread. I was about to drag my boat 60 miles to work so I could launch at Butte larose on my way home

Celltech, I drove out there a few weeks back just to see the launch was closed. I've never seen it that low, one big mud flat from the launch all the way to Lake Pelba

negative ghost rider. Barricades all over the launch. Don't know if they opened a control structure or closed one, but its shallow all over in that area.

You can get a gator easy though. They're thick in there at the moment.

I drive over the basin every day and yeah, Gators all over. I wasnt going to fish just changed a fuel pump and wanted to run the boat for a bit

hell if I know. I just know its low and the launch was still closed this morning at 7:30a.
