Will just be using it to tow a polaris 325 magnum behind my car. I'm not looking for anything super heavy duty but was wondering if anybody had anything bad to say about them

I bought one used from a buddy a couple years ago for $250 and haul my foreman and mower around and haven’t had any issues - probably going to cover up mesh floor this year with some wood. I put a set of LED lights on it last year.

I have pretty much the same trailer 5x8 from Lowes. The mesh floor is kinda weak. If you buy one make sure you get the title. Lowes girl/manager had no idea trailers had a title. After her searching for about 1/2 an hour she found a folder full of titles and just handed me a random title. I had to explain that's not how this worked and the title serial # had to match the serial # on the trailer

Also mine has a 1 7/8" hitch. Wish it had 2" like every other trailer I own.

I thought the trailer had be over so many feet long for it to come with a title.

Awesome. I'm not gonna be using it for any heavy duty use. I have an illegal af homemade trailer and it isn't wide enough. I want to be street legal now lol

This was in MS if it matters. Used title from Lowes to get MS tag and title.

i bought the 8x5 mesh floor and very happy with it, they come with 13" wheels and heavy duty axles.

its way way better made construction and materials then those lowes or home depot ones with the light duty axles and 12" tires.

no utility trailer has very good paint job but mine has held up very nice after a whole year with just slight rust in a few spots where the paint lifted.

best part is they put them on sale every so often for only $550 during holidays

its better to get the mesh floor then through a sheet of 1/2" treated plywood on it. the wood floor ones are expensive to replace when they rot out.

I'd look at a local trailer dealer or two. I'm not knocking that trailer but it is a very light duty unit and always pick the next size up from what you think you need. Sure it's big enough to load your wheeler on but what happens when you want to load your wheeler and take a new stand to the camp?

As for the expanded metal floor I actually prefer to have that because I can put tie straps anywhere through the floor and pull it tight.

My single axle is 6x12 and rated for 5K and has a 2" bulldog hitch on it. It holds my Ranger and a couple of 120 qt ice chest also.

If look at a local dealer and see if I could get one a little stronger at that price range. That mesh floor will be weak.

Trailers are pretty basic across the board.

If it were me, I'd look for a 3500lb axle, just in case I am using trailer for something heavier. But a 2k for just a four wheeler is enough.

especially since this is an 800 dollar 4 wheeler. I pull with a camry so I don't want too heavy duty of a trailer. It will likely never be loaded with more than a 4 wheeler and an ice chest or two.

I'd take the gate off when pulling it, less wind resistance. get some 2x8's and bolt them to the frame the width of the 4-wheeler tires to make it more sturdy.

i just looked at the specs. at the most your bike weighs 500-600 lbs right? then throw on gear and an ice chest or two and you are at half the rated wight. i'd say go for it.

I think the bike is around 550, so yeah, I have a lot to play with.

I have that exact trailer. Have had it for about 6 years and no problems. I haul my Honda rancher with no problems. Until this year, it was 3 hours to our hunting club and I pulled the trailer several times a year without any issues. It sits outside and was getting some rust spots so I sanded it in those places and panted this past fall. Looks like new!
