I bought an Expedition from the Bohn Zone and I received a good deal and was pleased with the salesman. Salesman was Jan Thigpen. I was recommended to deal with Jan by a Sales Mtg of another dealership.

Hope it helps.

I'm a huge ford fan but that vehicle is a dinosaur. Ford has written that model off.

They just emailed me to say $39,209. That's with the trade in allowance, finance rebate, bonus cash, and military discount. I was expecting around $35K so looks like they need to piss on/up a rope.

Check autotrader.com for even more savings from Mac Haik- the truck I'm looking at is $38,515 on their website and $36,972 on autotrader.

I bought a new 2013 f150 Lariat crew 4x4 last month from Mac Haik for 38,300. Sticker was 51,000. Its worth the trip to Houston to do business with them guys. They also gave me about 2,000.00 more for my trade than everywhere else. If you do ask for Pedro. Good guy.

I wish I could go down to Houston, but I'm in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The most I've gotten dealerships down to right now is about $9800 off MSRP. So I'm passing unless they come back to me with a much better offer.

They most likely don't realize this fact, which is precisely why they need to be reminded of this daily.

I negotiated a heck of a deal on a 2013 F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 with a dealership in North Carolina. When I got there they acted as if there was a misunderstanding on the price of the truck. I noticed there was no misunderstanding by looking at the paperwork they had behind the desk. They clearly had the price we negotiated. I literally told them to "piss on a rope" and that I was leaving.

To my surprise, that actually worked and I drove away just under $14K off of MSRP and exactly what I wanted for my trade. Who would have thought that telling them to "piss on a rope" would actually work. It probably helps that I was actually content driving way in my old vehicle.

One note- don't believe the ecoboost hype on mileage. Good motor that pulls great but I get 15-16 in town and 18 highway at 75mph. Can't get over 20 unless I slow to 60.

Its all in the rear end gear. Work had a eco crew 4wd with 3.31 gears. 22 mpg highway at 70.....pulled like a champ. Those gears worked the tranny but shite its got 6 speeds...use em

Ok here is a great tactic when y know what you want to buy.

Figure out every dealership that sells these vehicles in a 50 mile radius. Write to each of them saying what you want ie make model mileage etc. tell them you refuse to haggle or to take any calls. Have them mail you a price. Take the lowest price and make sure the car has never been in an accident flood or whatever, and go and buy it.

That's exactly what I did at Brian Harris yesterday. Told them to give me the best quote on a new Denali then I was going to curtosey in BB. They dropped the price there times and then I told them that I doubted it would stick when I started emailing Houston dealers. They dropped the price again.

I think the correct term is " go piss up a rope".

i was just reading the raptor forum and it looked like most the northern states are a few Gs over invoice and most southerns states are at or right about invoice.

I drove one this weekend and really made me want a new truck.
