Can someone help me with value?
Fixing to sell, and have no clue on what to ask.
2010 ranger xp 800. Power steering, epi clutch kit, 2.5 lift and forward a arms, 29.5 terms, alum wheels, roof, half windshield. Front gorilla axles. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. 1010 miles, 209 hours

I “THINK” it needs a top end, but I'm also not a mechanic. Will start and run, but smokey and not that great. just ready for it to go, but sure don't want to give it away. Everything past that I’d say is all good with no problems. Help me out, ready to sell. anybody have any honest opinions on what would be a good price?

smokey

continuous smoke probably needs rings and new cylinder.
Smoke at startup only.... valve seals are leaking.

Issue is the market is flooded with rangers.
I'd ask 5000 but be prepared to take less

I tell customers to be ready for big problems on units 8 years or older. If I was buying then I wouldn’t give more than 4,250 because it’s gonna take some cash. After market stuff doesn’t matter without a good engine and transmission

Exactly. Be honest with whoever you’re trying to sell it to.

actually, it hasn't been underwater, but these were horrible about sucking dirt and dust. its a known problem, you can read about it pretty easily. i did buy used in 2012 though, so i guess it could have and i don't know about it.

by no means, not even a little, have i been, nor would attempt to be dishonest about it, thats why I'm trying to find out what a good and fair price would be. i have an offer, cash in hand if i choose to take it, however, because of the problems, i wasn't sure if it was a good offer, or if it was worth more or what. i drove it around and pulled it up on the trailer etc, but i know that it aint right.
