Got invited on an inshore charter this weekend and it is with this outfit. Anybody know anything about them? Thanks in advance for any info!

POST-TRIP UPDATE: Sorry to bump an old thread, but I have to say that Cajun Fishing Adventures is awesome.

Great experience from top to bottom. Thanks to everybody for the pre-trip feedback. I will definitely go back.

Fished with them a few months ago, owner was there socializing with our group, nice guy. Lodging and food was great. I went sight fishing for reds with one of his guides. First time fishing for reds like this and I am hooked.

It's been at least six years since I went with them. I was invited by a vendor and it was a group of about 15-20 of us. It's a beautiful lodge nothing like you would think would be in Buras La. They have a pool table and a bigscreen to keep you entertained. Even a pool out back. There is a cpl of ladies on staff that cooked a great supper and breakfast the next morning. The next morning was kinda like a circus though. All of our guides for us plus the guides for the other guest that were staying there all lined up in the driveway like school busses or taxis at the airport. It was a little confusing as in who goes where type of thing. I think they had dry erase boards with customer names matched with guides Then since we all left at the same time it was a little crowded at the launch. That was my only small complaint which is minor. We went there two years in a row and one time we went west and one time we launched into the Ms river and went to the east. Both times we caught plenty fish and were treated great by the guides on the boat.

It's run by Ryan Lambert who is a former employee of Monsanto. He used to work both jobs but when he was able to do the fishing full time due to getting loads of corporate bookings, he left Monsanto. He is also part owner of Grand Ridge golf course in Luling. Ryan is a first class guy and very knowledgeable about fishing and coastal restoration. His lodge is one of the nicest around.

The lodge is awesome and food is great, we were unlucky and they had a bad storm pass through the night before and really muddy the waters up, I was not a huge fan of my guide but he was okay I do not want to take anytin away. You should have a great time.

ETA: With all this wind and rain the fishing maybe a bit tough, you will more than likely go out on the east side because the wind has been out of the west most of this week. The water will be dirty but like I said earlier we had dirty water and still caught (not a lot but pretty good considering the conditions).
