That deer will gross over 160 all day every day.

40 inches total on his 2s and 3s, easy
10 inches total on his 4s
12 inches on brows
23-25 inch beams
17-18 inside spread
34-36 inches in mass
Split brow and trash 5-6 inches
That deer may touch 170

Look at the numbers I posted and tell me where I'm screwing up, because I don't see how that deer doesn't gross high 160s

You have right around what I figured on tine length, but in my opinion you're being generous on mass, beam length (although it's hard to judge without a good side view) and spread.

I had 44" of beams, 32" of mass and 16ish on inside spread.

I agree 150-160

I also agree that is beautiful country up there. If I ever moved from Louisiana it would be to that general area for sure.

165 ish he looks like a 5 or 6 year old next year more mass and more kickers.. if he makes it past next year he will be going down hill.. If I were you I would feed all summer with antlermax protein and corn mixed in a gravity feeder ( this keeps the hogs from eating) this will maximize his growth this summer as well as keep him on the property..that's an absolute brute congratulations just for having a deer like that on camera

I agree with razorback. I thought you were generous on the mass, mainbeam length and spread. I think he will be close to 160", but will fall short.

The kind with feeding trays you have to hang it at a height the hogs can't reach but the deer can. also pvc around the legs/post keeps the coons from climbing up them.. It will take deer a while to get used to it but once they do they will use it..I would start with just corn untill they get used to it and then add the protein half and half.. I go to 75 percent protein pellets about August 1 when they are really putting on their horns.. Does it work? I don't know but it can't hurt.. The research I have read says it will not fix bad genes but it will help deer reach there maximum genetic potential. With a buck like that you bet I'm feeding him all year long.

I'd be down.

I'm searching for a place here locally... But prices are nuts. Apparently you can hunt on Ft. Hood land though. Buddy told me about it a couple of weeks ago, said they let people on due to overpopulation.
