Yep. That’s why I asked. We had two that we ran of hoses from bulk tanks with no filters. Caused problems.
The cause breakdowns the insides of the hoses and it leaves an oily substance in the gas lines. We couldn’t get the pilot to light period. I did the carb cleaner trick and they fire right up now. Also bought the filters.
