bout ten years ago.. delivery truck at work clipped gas meter... sounds of rushing gas all over building... smell of gas everywhere....
evacuating building.... about 20 yards downwind of gas leak... no less than 5 people light up as they exit building...
fire dept was rolling up at same time..... first two firemen... were going nuts... it was priceless..

when I saw em lighting up...I beat feet much further down the street.... but the first firemen there were trying to turn off gas ASAFP
one person was actually walking TOWARDS leak to "see"
