I’ve got some Winchester “USA Forged” steel cased 115g stuff that I bought a year or so ago. 2-3 rounds were fine and they all went bang. Problem was, on the 3rd or 4th round I’d get a FTE and have to take the pistol down and use a cleaning rod to ram the casing out of the breach. I can only assume the pressure was expanding the case.

I put that stuff in a drawer and never used it again. I’ll stay with the white box for the range.

ETA I’ve shot Tula stuff in the past in multiple calibers and never had much of a problem with it in small quantities.

Yes. GTG.

I'm pretty sure it's just aluminum Blazer, packed in different box w/ different headstamp, but coming off the same production line. Vista Outdoors owns both companies.

I like the Al case Federal round, especially for my Kimber Micro 9. I also like Al Blazer, but it's very hard to find. In my guns, the Al rounds shoot well. I've been handloading so long that I can't stop myself from picking brass after a shoot. This doesn't work well w/ the Micro 9 as it flings cases everywhere.
