I have had this AK for over 20 years, I finally did the conversion I've been putting off....

Looks sweet! Surely you can get another attachment on it somewhere? J/K bro, very nice!

Can you get a cheekweld on that thing with the scope?

I know right....Maybe a bayonette?
I figure if I have a gun that is usually just sitting in the cabinet, I should at least hang every bell and whistle I can on it!

Sweet looking gun. I dont see how you use the scope, with it mounted so far above the stock

Dont worry, I kept the ole tallow tree wood stock or whatever it is!

I bougt the scope before i did conversion. It was for my son to cap a deer under 70 yards. The short stock was easy to handle when he was smaller. I just kept it on there instead of the red dot because it looked cooler. I mean its not like your lighting matches at 200 yards with an AK. Its a toy, and more fun to hit it on the 30th shot anyway!

the cover and scope was bought about 5 years ago from hebert guns. I dont know brands etc. Everything else was bought from IFA Tactical in a kit

Yeah it looks really cool like that. Just didnt know how practical the scope was. I have an old preban essential arms that is cast molded. I would have to mount a scope way up like that as well

put the scope on it, sight it in, then never shoot from any place but the hip!!! If you holding chinese weapon, shoot it like a chinese person!
