127", 3 1/3 years old.

I'm bucking (hehe) the trend that deer are always something and a half a years old, no matter the time of the year is.

Most does are bred in November-January, the average gestation period is around 200 days. December 15th + 200 days is early July. We are in October so you are actually closer than the 1/2 estimate that we generally give...

Are they smoking crack Barry?

Or are they looking at a grainy picture of a grainy picture of a deer at nighttime, from an unknown location, posted by a stranger on the internet with no other supporting information, so they just spitball numbers that they don’t really care if they are accurate or not, just to pass the time at work?

I’m a ruhtard when it comes to scoring a deer. Any idea on what these 2 might score? Not that it really matters to me because I will shoot them if I see them!!

Is the date right on this and both are still in velvet?

135ish for the 8 point. 155-160 assuming the other is a main frame 10. Rough scoring while still in velvet is always a crapshoot for me though.

Yes, dates are correct. I’ve never seen them in velvet this late before where we hunt
