Did they ever say what the deal was with the guy in the woods they found? Sort of sounded like he was a hunter that cam to investigate. From the pics it appeared to be a rural area.

Interesting bar chart... Although I have to say that I'm a little skeptical that a baseball bat is the #1 weapon used in violent crimes.

That's what they were saying earlier, but now they're saying the brother was questioned in Hoboken, NJ, and the father is meeting with the FBI.

I guess History is not required for a Broadcast Journalism degree. Come to think of it, neither is Ethics.

Just ordered the book "On Killing". I heard it was relevant and the reviews looked really good.

I don't believe that percentage at all. First off, other than all yall and my immediate family and a few friends, no one, and I mean NO ONE, knows if I own a gun or guns or even what type. I've never answered a survey or census asking this question and I won't. Just HOW did ABC or anyone arrive at this percentage? I think it is total BS. I'll say this, though. If I was looking to invade the United States, I'd make sure my troops landed in the Northeast and not in the South.

Her latest FB post is "Lanza's mom had 4 guns. Who needs 4 guns?"

If she only knew.

Love how the instances of citizens using guns to protect themselves gets little or no media coverage.

I'm not gonna get into it with her. Besides being Bama fans and anti gun, they are good neighbors. Our kids are the same age and they play together in our driveway every day. I'm gonna leave it alone unless she pushes the issue.

She would fall out if she opened my safe.

This is without a doubt one of the most horrific and needless acts of insanity one could imagine. The media and liberals (one and the same) will use this as an irrational excuse to disarm this country. Taking guns out of our hands in a hope to decrease violent acts in this country is like putting locks on your doors and believing that your house is safe and secure.

First, I have to say I'm sickened about what happened today. When I called my wife to see if she had heard, I couldn't say what happened. I kept choking back tears. I haven't cried in a long time but this got to me. We have 11 grandkids and this hit me hard. Then I'm heading home, listening to a business news show and the dude said he first wasn't going to work the tragedy into the report because it didn't have anything to do with business and we shouldn't talk about gun control at a time like this. Then he said "there are 58,000 places to buy guns legally in this country. More than Starbucks. When is a better time"? Be prepared guys they are coming after our protection.
