Y’all ever experience jams or failure to feeds? Reason I ask is I went to a sporting clays course with a vendor and a couple of his clients. One of the gentlemen had an A400 that failed 3 or 4 times. I was sharing my benelli with a friend. We shot circa 200 rounds in total without a malfunction, and the gun has never malfunctioned with thousands of rounds ran through it. I was surprised by the beretta’s failures.

That’s odd I’ve put my A400 through hell and back and I’ve never had any issues with it.

They have a great reputation. It was odd to see. The gentlemen said he has had it for 6 years.

Gas ports probably getting clogged. Will happen eventually if you don't clean it.

How long since he cleaned it. They do need cleaning / lubing slightly more frequently than the 391's.

+1. 6 years of gunk needs to eventually be cleaned.

Never had issues with mine even with super light loads. I sold mine to get the Plus version.

I have, but only with light loads. Sometimes it won’t cycle. Did a thorough cleaning the morning of a clay shoot this year and still had problems. I’ve had it for a few years and at first was blaming it on not being broken in, but don’t think that’s the case anymore. High brass, never had a single issue.

Never had an issue with mine. Friends have never had an issue.

I usually shoot Rio 1 oz. 1200 ft.sec loads. Buddy shoots Winchester 1 oz. 1180 ft/sec. loads. No problems cycling these (and no issues with heavier loads).

Never had an issue with mine, I also broke it in properly with magnum loads per the instructions. Chances are that guy didn't read the book.

This. Mine has only done this once (weaker shells for clays wouldn't fully cycle). Broke it down, cleaned, and proper lube fixed it.
