How do you like the CZ?

It has done well for me. I have used it for quail and rabbits mainly, and occassionally doves.

The 28ga tends to shoot tight for me so I use pretty open chokes mostly.

One thing I don’t like about the gun is the bottom of the receiver is fairly square and not overly comfortable to the hand when carrying the gun. Really my only complaint though.

How heavy are the CZ’s
Do they still make the Bobwhite? I heard they quit.

Mine is made on a scaled 28ga frame and isn’t heavy to me. Swings nice for a sub.

Looking at CZ’s webpage it appears the Ringneck and others were discontinued in favor of other models. Looks like the Sharptail is the replacement.

Looks like a couple solid choices.

I have a Browning Citori 12ga, 3.5" chamber that I use for most of my upland bird hunting...

My main upland gun is a 20 gauge Bernardelli Gamecock with 26" barrels. It is light and I can carry it all day.

Here is a pic

Nice! That straight grip works well for flushing birds.

I’ve always liked sxs shotguns, though I don’t hunt upland birds. I do a little bit of rabbit hunting, but we don’t have lots of them.

I’m actually toying with the idea of getting a Pedersoli muzzleloading shotgun.
