That's a fine looking snake. Would suck to be bitten, but I would have probably let him go. I hope he does something useful with it and not just dump it in the trash. Would make a really nice mount or skin.

Hate me some timber rattlers. Rabbit hunting in San Antonio I've come across at least five 3-5 foot timer rattlers and man they blend in well. Sure glad they warn you cuz I've come very close a few times and didn't see them.
