This is key. I run everything bone dry in the chamber.
+2 I for one would switch CLP away from Remoil. Remoil has always gave me trouble with my SBE 1. I always felt it was too "wet" and really never would leave the chamber dry. .ive been using Frog Lube on my A400 with good success and don't have to worry about harsh lubes with my infant son around.

I had this problem but noticed that it was only with 3.5" shells. Mine would always eject the shell but wouldn't feed the next round all the way
The fix, for me, was VERY slightly bending the feed ramp upwards (I'm talking 1/32" or less). The issue was that the feed ramp angle wasn't quite steep enough to get the front end of 3.5" shells into the chamber. I haven't had a single FTF or FTE since and I shoot 4-5 cases of shells a year between skeet, trap, duck & goose hunting

How do you go about bending the feed ramp angle?

So, you just need to finish closing the bolt? The bolt on the gun rotates in the chamber to finish closing. Do the shells slide into the chamber smoothly? If there isn't a shell in the chamber does the bolt close all the way?
Have you cleaned the area that the bolt rotates in on the chamber? And have you taken the bolt apart and clean it well?
I'd bet it's one of those two things. Or there is something in the chamber that isn't allowing the bolt to rotate.

take the trigger assembly out (this is simple)
clamped needle nose vice grips about half way down the feed ramp and applied pressure, it doesn't take much.
Before I did this I could recreate the failure to feed 3.5" shells issue regularly. I would just slowly cycle the bolt and watch the entire process. Each and every time the front of the shell wouldn't go all the way into the chamber, the bottom 1/16" would snag on the bottom of the barrel.
Slightly bending the feed ramp immediately fixed the issue and I've been shooting the piss out of it for the last 3 seasons with no issues

Also, make sure there is no oil on the gas piston and inside the gas piston tube. They recommend cleaning these parts with mineral spirits. If oil gets on these parts, they tend to foul quickly and cause malfuncitons.
