Not enough of an OB baller to drop $700 on ammo all at once at that PPR

Thanks though!

I agree, it's unfortunate that that has become a "great deal" at damn near 0.70rnd. For people looking though, it beats the $1+ some people are asking.

I've been selling some of my extra stuff on gunbroker and it's insane.

I have enough stocked up for a while. These prices can’t stay this high forever.

That's cheap compared to most. Academy and bass pro are the only ones I have seen cheaper, and good luck getting any between the employees and the retired ammo lurkers. Go to gunbroker and you'll see plenty of $.90 to $1 9mm. Will prices "normalize" again? Maybe, maybe not. A year from now you may be wishing you had that $600 case of 9mm.

Either way, I just pass along available ammo as I find it, for those in need. Don't like it, don't buy it.

Exactly, and what seems like higher prices today may be a steal in a few months.

Watching things, if you NEED some 9mm, it seems like the best deal is the Federal American Eagle.

Someone else mentioned it, and I checked the last couple days because I had to get up for work:

Federal lists it for $22-ish a box, limit 2, shipping is $12. Every morning around 5am or so... it's been in stock at 5:45 the past 2 days when I looked. When I pulled it up on my phone at work at 7 it was gone. Both days I put it in my cart, and left it. Wasn't there the next day.

If you do this, with shipping the price was $56 for 100. figure 3 wks shipping.

Also note that it’s a limit of 2 boxers per type. Thursday I was able to buy 4 boxes (2 different types) to help offset the $12 for shipping.

Show us where you can buy common ammo in stock for less than $0.50 round. I'll buy it.

i'll be patient while everyone panic buys ammo and spends their life savings on $1/rd, then i'll go buy again whenever things go back down in price, however long that might be

it might be years but i can wait

i'm not petrified like most people around here

I get it. It's expensive compared to what things used to be. However $0.60rnd is is less than market price, which is why I post when I see good deals. Go look at ammoseek.com and show me what the cheapest winchester 9,45, 5.56 etc are selling for.

The simple fact is there is nothing available at "your" price, and many shooters are new. There's also a very real chance we will never see $0.25rnd 9mm or $0.40rnd 5.56 ever again. Inflation, metals shortage, political environment etc all play a role. It's not panic buying given the current environment.

With all of that said, nobody cares what you WANT to pay. I will continue to post deals and you're welcome to ignore them.
