Anyone have any idea on when Hornady or Federal will start making 6.5 PRC ammo again? I have no idea how, but every gun store in South Louisiana is fresh out. It's not like this is a caliber that is extremely popular to where everyone is hording it. I can find 6.5 Creedmoor all day long, but I have to sell a kidney to find PRC. I have to imagine that it is a special caliber and very little is actually made?

Bout 350 days!!!
The cartridge is new only been around two years or so now, you and maybe 350 other people shoot them.
Meanwhile the presses are cranking out 223 and 9mm by the metric frick tons!!

Been looking at buying one because I love the 6.5s
Nosler has some coming out but right now everything is going towards money making rounds.

I’ve been buying 6.5 prc and 6.5 grendel anytime I see them for a while now. Sportsman’s warehouse will have some of each every so often. I don’t really need more, but I also don’t need less.

Yeah, I came across a case of 123gr Hornady ELD Match for the Grendel yesterday. Went ahead and got it since I ordered another Grendel yesterday.

There is a guy that loads custom ammo that you can buy.

It will be more expensive but it will be much better than factory ammo as he's using extremely accurate powder loads and seating dies..

His website in Unknown Munitions.
He sells in 50 round boxes

Here is one he has in stock:
