AR47.

Bear Creek arsenal upper.

PSA lower.

Enhanced firing pin.

Buy C Products magazines only.

Put 200 rounds so far and no fail to fire or feed. Make sure to seat the mag hard if the mag is fully loaded.

Picked up Trinity flip up sights. Shoots great. Will get a different optic when I decide. Leaning on sightmark ultra. Under $100 great reviews. Friends have em.

Edit: if you get the side bolt from Bear Creek like I did. The knurled piece is two pieces. I took it off and JB welded the Allen screw to the fitting so I can unscrew if needed without tools to field strip and clean.

I actually bought a spare and did the same.

If you prefer steel magazines, this are South Korean. I got some and they run great. And the price is, too:
$5.99 apiece.

That site is Global Ordnance, I found it during an ammo hunt. I've made several orders from them, it's legit and they ship fast.

Just giving everyone a head's up, they've run ammo sales for the past 2 holidays, if you're okay with steel (Tula); Father's Day was a case of 9mm for $150. 4th of July was a case of .223 for $250. Both times, limit 1 per customer. Deal started the weekend before, both times I got some. Even with the flat-rate $13 shipping, it was the best price I could find.
Same thing for 10 AR mags, that's gonna come out to $73.

Damn! That IS a great price. I wish I wasn't so picky about the aesthetics of my own firearms but I just don't like the looks of the steel mags compared to PMAGs. Plus, I have 15 PMAGs on order already(10 from Brownell's and 5 from Palmetto State. Ordered the 5 from Palmetto before I came across the Brownell's deal ).

Hell, for the price you can get some as long-term backup.

I went in with a buddy to split shipping, I got 10 and he got 5, we just figured out the price per mag and divided up. These are steel and solid, heavier than the aluminum (but hey, not "heavy", it's a magazine after all). Came in little ziplock bags, appeared new condition. Korea stamped on bottom. I loaded up a few with the Tula and they ran great.

Best magazine deal overall I've found, outside of the Cetme mags at J&G Sales (for the Cetme and HK style 7.62 rifles); those are/were $3.99 apiece for 10+, and those came covered in cosmoline.

I've read somewhere (Glocktalk?) that some of the polymer mags, the lips start to split or warp if you load them and store them over a few years. And the aluminum ones can bend easily. People were saying the steel ones don't have either problem.

I'd definitely recommend making an account and getting on their email list.

They don't spam bad that I've noticed; just an ad about prices 1-2 times a week. And when they do the holiday sales, it's been worth it. I found them pre-Father's Day and got the Tula 9mm for about 165 shipped. And then like I said, got the notice on Tula 223 for $250, $263 shipped. Like everyone else, I prefer brass, but I'm not going to turn my nose up at those prices right now

Appreciate the heads up. Just ordered 13 of these to try out. I actually prefer the look of the okay industries mags over my pmags.

I get it, I prefer brass too

What's your best price for available 223/556? Best I can find is sgammo, and that's $429 (plus tax/ship). So, we're talking about $180 less for a case.

Re 7.62x39, that's AK/SKS stuff, I've ALWAYS shot steel in those. SGammo has the Tula for $250. So for the exact same stuff, you're looking @ $30 more.

Don't get it if you don't want it, but I'd prefer to have a stash just in case things don't get better.

Primary briefly ran this gun again @ $599, limit 1 per customer, sold out quickly today.

If it shows up anywhere for the $500 pricetag, I'm getting a 2nd.

I'm sure we'll need patience my friend...

I ordered this rifle a week ago and emailed them to ask if it comes with a magazine - it does not, by the way. But I got an auto response to my email saying they're taking 3-4 days to respond to emails and also this...

quote:

Due to the unprecedented demand for firearms, FFL orders are taking up to 14-16 business days to process. Please make sure you have provided us with your ship to FFL information and check that they are fully open and able to receive orders for transfer.

So... I got an email today:

@ 4:26pm, Primary Arms sent me a "back in stock" notice on the $499 rifle. I clicked the link when I saw it, which was 4:35 (gmail said it was 9 minutes old)... sold out already. Wow, but that figures.

But they had another, for $525. Said frick it, what's another 25 bucks... I want to have 2 in the house.

In stock, but WTF I couldn't order it???
Ok, I didn't have an account, so I hurriedly made one. Still couldn't "add to cart". Refresh, still in stock...

so I COULD "add to wishlist".

Which I did, and then (and only then) looking at my wishlist, I could add to my cart. BAM. Check out.
--your cart contains items no longer in stock... the original $499 gun. Moved to "save for later".
--create your home address.
--enter a shipping address.
--clarify why your home address isn't your shipping address
--(wow, making me work for this, but gun still lists in stock)

Finally, got it all sorted out, and ordered. Says expect 10+ days to ship to FFL, but as long as it does, I'm ok with a wait.

BTW, still listing in stock if anyone else wants to go through with this. $9.13 USPS shipping.
