Which 4 seater UTV do you guys recommend for land use? Was looking at a Polaris Ranger Crew, not sure what other ones I should be looking at. TIA!

Depends on what you're doing with it.

I like the mule, but it's expensive.

I like the viking, but HP is low at 50.

I like the ranger, but swap out rollers in the clutch DAY ONE or slap a duraclutch in it.

Same goes for general.

I don't do heavy arse kubota.

Hauling things around the property. Wood, debris, fencing materials. May want to haul a small trailer or dump cart behind it as well.

Check out the John Deere Gators (XUV560E and XUV590E). I’m between one of those and the Ranger Crew right now.

The Kawasaki Mule and Can-Am Defender HD8 are nice setups too.

I can get a Ranger Crew 570 for ~11k new. I may end up buying used but can't find them much cheaper than that.

I might be interested. Where is it located? I'm guessing you don't have to pay any sales tax when buying private party?

You don't want to put any adult in the back of one... And there is yet another stop sale on them. Power steering bolt failure.

I tried to get one to demo when my 500 got wrecked and had to take it off the trailer right as I was heading out.

It's located in Jena, LA.

It's my aunt and uncles. They are in their 60's and some things came up health wise and they need to get rid of it. All it's ever done is been driven around the yard.

Ive been half heartedly looking for the past 6 months. I am leaning mule because Ive had one before, but I've read a lot of good about the viking too.

I need to seat 6, I want it to be quiet and I need it to be dependable. It'll be used weekly for chores on the property and on weekends to cruise around Grand Isle.

Should I be looking harder at one over the other?

Not really.

Price is the difference. Mules are expensive. They are also actually out there.

Vikings are cheaper... And no one has one. My buddy had to order his and wait a month.

I ordered my polaris and it's the same thing... Wait and see.

I'm looking to buy used. Trying to keep it around 10k. At the beginning of the virus, they were out there. You could find good looking, low hour machines for that, if you looked. Now, there are almost none available. The omes that do come up are beaten to hell, high hours, both, or almost as much as a new one.

Im lookimg forward to people having to go back to work and sell the toys they dont use as much as they planned on.

I had a 4010 before. It was almost perfect for what I needed. But 25mph is just a little too slow.

I’ve have heard of ways but it is not a snip and go deal and will definitely void the warranty.

As for used... I got 3000 more for mine than I paid for it new.

What is high hours on a Mule Pro?

I found one for a good price, but it has 1600 hours. Thats more than I was really considering. It was used on a pine plantation, not for mudding or hunting according to the gentleman who owns it.
