At the risk of helping someone sell a boat, this seems interesting enough to talk about.

I read on another site that this is the 3rd or 4th time that this boat has been bought and sold in the last year or so. (I don't know if this is true or not.)

Anywho, seems like a pretty good chunk of boat for that price... although it's not glass.

Mods, feel free to delete if not deemed worthy of the OB.

In the offshore world I would say no, but bayboats yes. American Aluminium says hello.

Most people dont realize that you can do some things wrong electrically that will destroy an aluminum hull. It's very durable but it does have very specific special requirements that fiberglass doesnt have.

IMO the only real advantages to aluminum are ease of repair and ease of modification. Fiberglass that is done right is superior in every other way IMO.

That said I've worked on some boats at gaudets and they are definitely top notch. They're a great talented friendly group.
