.223 Wylde vs 5.56 barrel

I’ve heard of the accuracy benefits but is it really that beneficial?

More accurate with common bulk ammo? Not really. Both are gtg though.

A well manufactured 5.56 is probably more accurate than a poorly manufactured wylde. It's a small difference.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that some of the .556 barrels are slower twist 1/10 and even slower. The majority of the 223 wylde barrels are made to spin heavier bullets 1/8 twist that will stabilize the heavier 70gr bullets.

This. Same gunsmith makes one of each? The Wylde will be more accurate with the right ammo. Different manufacturers? There's no telling. I don't see much downside to them, but I'd focus more on who made the barrel than Wylde vs 5.56.
