So I picked up my 4 boxes (250) each of "brass" 9MM ammo today from Academy. Shame on me for not checking the bags until I got home. They gave me 3 boxes of brass and one box of steel. I started an online customer service chat and told them the mistake. They told me that I would need to exchange it at the Pensacola store to fix it. I told them that it's 30+ miles each way and would be a hassle (both true). They promptly credited me back the $49.99 for the steel and told me to keep the ammo.

I don't shoot any steel cased ammo at all... so my question is, should I just shoot it up in some shittier 9mm pistols/ carbines I have? Is it that bad on the firearms?
