Is it the premium or sport? Curious if you thought the upgrade is worth it. You sound like you did your research

It is the premium model. We mainly stuck to the premium models because the black wheels are what the wife liked. Im not sure what interior options are different from the base to the premium but this thing has more bells and whistles that I would have imagined. I daily an 06 is350 and my truck is an 04 Duramax so I dont know what alot of this stuff even does. ??

They are awesome. Good buy!

I've always thought they were great, just never had a life situation to get one.

Its a super refined 4runner with a v8, way more luxury upgrades and all the offroad capabilities.

What other vehicle do you see guys regularly getting 300-500k miles with just timing belt changes every 100k? I want an OG Tundra for the same reason.

While you are ignoring some electronic bugs, starters, suspension junk, I agree.

Every scion. Almost every Toyota 4 cylinder.
About 30 years of Honda products.

But if you're looking for off-road capable...Nissan hard bodies. Frontiers, xterras.
Fords with the i6, though there will be other repairs there.
There are a few hidden gems in most manufacturers that will treat you correctly.

I would argue the H3 hummer with the i5 is an amazing platform that gets zero respect...mainly because it was bought by the type of people who had no interest in maintenance.
