The Blind Spot Monitor Detection Sensor on my 2018 is going out. I pulled the sensor out and the part number is JC3T-14C689-AB. Looking for the sensor online and all I can find is part number JC3T-14C689-AC. Are these parts interchangeable? Thank you advance, as any information would be helpful.

My camera works about %5 of the time on my 2014 F150. I have just accepted I don’t have a backup camera like all my previous vehicles and quit trying to fix it. LOL

Same part just a superseded number. Be sure you don't have any cracks or moisture in your tailight, if so the repair won't make it long. Common issue.

I have 3 on shelf if you want the OB discount.

You can get great answers here but the guys at f150forum can have you fixing shite on your ford truck you never dreamed of. Worth asking there too, they're all friendly.

I ordered the part on Amazon and it should be here today. The tail light was cracked and moisture got in. I replaced the light assembly (boy you talk about expensive) and was hoping the sensor was still good (it was not).

The tail light is an $1,100+ part on the F150. They have a history of leaking. Service tech told me the leaking starts causing multiple electrical problems. Door locks, AC….

I am aware of the cost as that what I had to change but was hoping the sensor was still good. Very easy fix for the light and sensor but they sure are proud of the tail light.

Did blind spot mirrors stop working or something? I don't get the need by car makers to move away from a $3 mirror that does just as good. My 2018 F150 XLT has the blind spot mirrors built in and I much prefer that to my wife's new car who has the yellow triangle notification in her side mirrors. I still want to add the stick on blind spot mirrors to her car cause I'm so used to it. Ok, old man rant over.

I got an alert on the dash, radio volume quit working as well as the power windows. Long story short, i cracked the light and water got into it. Changed the sensor out yesterday and everything seems to be working fine so far.
