too many of you people get scared off by a frickin sticker price

I thought I said it, my bad. Yes I did. It was bad arse. TRD SR5 4x4 with leather seats. The thing that got me is for the exact same price as the F150 I felt I was getting more for it. Knick knack shite with the F150 like the tailgate step, stowable bed extender, etc.

I paid 41.5k for a limited crewmax 4x4. I don't know what the comparable Ford is, but I don't think it's a 10k difference. And I would imagine you would get a lot of it back on resale.

Tailgate step and bed extender isn't something that would sway me one direction or the other. You're looking a a couple hundred dollars of add on equipment if you really want it. If someone thinks that highly of it, that's cool. My opinion is that it shouldn't be a deal maker.

Not really. I don't think you made the point you were trying to make. If you get more back, the money you spent up front isn't something to worry about, necessarily.

huh? so if someone pays 20k and sells for 10k and another person pays 25k and sells for 15k, Who got the better deal?
