The problem with Cheniere was that it was decades between drawdown or being flushed out with receding flood waters. Add to the fact that it has more trees than any other lake I have ever seen just built up such a thick mass at the bottom

I think once they get the dead submerged vegetation under control, they might could leave the water levels alone for a few years. No where near ready for that though.

It was decided to leave Grand Bayou as is and evaluate next year due to Sea wall and other miscellaneous repairs that could not be scheduled in time.
