Because the f150 and f250 are a ton of people's favorite trucks, both performance wise and looks wise. Never had a problem with any of my fords.

I’m aware. I was just saying once they swell, there is no spec/size of socket (neither metric nor standard) that will fit them. A 22mm seems like it will work to the hand, but once you put any torque on it the flats round. In my experience, forcing a 21mm onto the nuts with a rubber mallet a few mm gave me the best route to removing mine.
