I guarantee you that's not what Bill and Marty are catching them with. LA Sportsman has become a huge bullshite advertisement.

LASM
"I caught a limit of specks and reds, they wouldn't bite on anything other than a matrix shad paired with a rockport rattler."

All I use. Cheap lead heads.

I have about a dozen free rock ports. Never use me really. Too big

Never used them.
Deadly dudley bay choive paired with a 1/4 oz lead head=a nice mess of fish in leeville. Cheap and effective.

Did y'all have to work for em? Or was it pretty easy fishin?
Posted on 4/25/13 at 10:58 pm to JAB528
They were on and off. We'd catch two then have to fight through the hard heads for a half hour then catch two more.
Best part was when three guide boats parked right by us trying to move in on out spot and we doubled up right in front of them.

She said she'd hoist, but not in the bikini so I said it wasn't worth it.
Yeah the hardheads were pissing us off. We only ran out of bait because of them.
To whoever asked, we were just bouncing them on the bottom in the shallow flats. We looked for birds a lot.
